Advanced HDSentinel Settings
Advanced: Re-run Backup Drive Setup
Use this only when the backup drive changed or the original drive detection was wrong. It re-runs the drive setup portion of onboarding for the backup disk only.
Warning: This will update the SimpleSaferServer-managed backup drive configuration, including the stored drive identifiers and the SimpleSaferServer-managed
/etc/fstab entry.
| Configured Mount Point | /data/backup-drive |
|---|---|
| Configured UUID | FAKE-UUID-0001 |
| Configured USB ID | FAKE:0001 |
NTFS only
Scan drives, select the correct backup partition, unmount it first if needed, then apply the updated backup drive setup. This always refreshes the SimpleSaferServer-managed
/etc/fstab entry using the boot-safe nofail configuration. Do not use this for unrelated system storage changes.
