DDNS Providers

Fake mode simulates local system services, but DDNS uses the real provider APIs. Saving enabled provider settings or forcing a sync can update live DNS records.
Enable DuckDNS Automatically update your public IP to DuckDNS every 5 minutes.
DuckDNS Setup Instructions
  1. Go to DuckDNS.org and sign in.
  2. Add a domain (e.g. simple-safer-server), which will grant you simple-safer-server.duckdns.org
  3. Copy your unique Token from the top of the DuckDNS dashboard page.

Enable Cloudflare DDNS Automatically keep a specific Cloudflare 'A' record updated with your public IP.
Cloudflare Setup Instructions
  1. Login to Cloudflare Dashboard and select your top-level domain.
  2. Create a new 'A' record pointing to your server (e.g. server.mydomain.com). Make sure it exists!
  3. Locate your Zone Identifier on the Overview page of your domain (bottom right).
  4. Go to My Profile > API Tokens.
  5. Create a Scoped Token using the "Edit zone DNS" template, restricting it to your specific zone. Note: Global API Keys are insecure and not recommended for this application.
Zone Identifier is required if enabled.
Token is required if enabled.
Record name to update is required.
Proxy through Cloudflare Off by default
Leave off for normal DNS. Turn on only when this record should serve Cloudflare-supported web traffic through the orange-cloud proxy.
